Hayley is passionate about providing client-centered care with a special focus on acute and chronic low back issues and the shoulder complex. Her goal is to provide the highest quality of individualized therapeutic care while empowering her clients to become active participants in the rehabilitation process to achieve a sustainable outcome. She utilizes a variety of techniques and modalities that manage pain, repair injuries and return her clients to functionality and mobility. Hayley treats a wide range of conditions- everything from sports-related injuries to repetitive stress issues to degenerative disc disease.
Hayley’s interest in physiotherapy was sparked by her aunt, a physiotherapist. She was able to observe how effectively physiotherapy improved a patient’s quality of life, eased a patient’s pain and aided in their functionality. Her take-away: it’s often just a matter of what a client’s pain teaches us.
A graduate from the University of Western Ontario with a Bachelor of Health Sciences and a Masters of Physiotherapy, Hayley believes in lifelong learning illustrated by further training in acupuncture, soft tissue release, McKenzie therapy for neck and back problems, and shoulder rehabilitation. She is currently completing her manual therapy levels through the Orthopaedic Division of the Canadian Physiotherapy Association.
